At The Hairess & Co we take the utmost care with your hair and use the finest products available on the market. Our highly trained team will provide you advice for using the best product to keep your colour and style looking fresh and lasting as long as possible.
Deposits
- All new colour client bookings may require an upfront payment deposit.
- You may be required to provide a $50.00 deposit to secure an appointment that is less than 2 hours in duration, which will be deducted from the final cost of the full service provided.
- You may be required to provide a $100.00 deposit to secure an appointment that is more than 2 hours in duration, which will be deducted from the final cost of the full service provided.
- If you cancel or don’t show up to your appointment, as per clauses 1 & 2 below, you will not be refunded your deposit.
- When confirming your hair appointment, the confirmation message is sent from our booking system Fresha to your mobile number provided. If you decide not to nominate a credit card to secure your appointment time, we will require a 50% deposit via phone or at front desk at least 24hrs prior to keep your appointment booking.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- If you cancel (or reschedule) your appointment within 12 hours, you will be charged 50% of the service value. Any deposit made will be deducted from the 50% charge. The amount will be deducted from the card provided at the time of booking. If no credit card is nominated, the deposit paid will be automatically forfeited and the difference owing to the salon may be recovered from you.
- Scheduled appointments can be cancelled if more than 12 hours notice is given by contacting the salon during business hours, via phone or email or after hours thru the fresha booking system .
- if you fail to show up for an appointment you will charged for 100% of the appointment booked with us and the card retained on our system will be debited accordingly. if there is no card attached to your file in our fresha system, we will call you and request your payment. If the payment is NOT made then we will be forced to recover this sum from you, and in turn this may inhibit future bookings with The Hairess & Co.
Arriving Late To Your Appointment Time
1. At The Hairess & Co we book out the required time allocated personally for you, for your requested hair
services. If you arrive late to the confirmed start time then your hair services will be altered to allow for
the time missed with full payment of the original services booked.
2. Scheduled appointments or services cannot be cancelled on arrival of appointment.
3. If any services are removed from the booking with less than 12 hours’ notice, the amount of the original
service/s will be charged. This includes change of mind at the time of the appointment.
4. We will do our best to fit in your requested services as much as we can, please respect our dedicated time
management for other clients appointments too.
Refunds
- For cancellations only, the deposit will be refunded if more than 12 hours’ notice is given to the salon.
- We will not offer a refund if you simply change your mind about the service received or product purchased.
- As per the Australian Consumer law, refunds will only be offered if there is a major failure or minor problem that can’t be fixed within a reasonable time with a product sold or service provided to you that does not meet a consumer guarantee.
Guarantees
- We aim to provide high quality services and products. Some products may cause side effects which are stated on the packaging. Our salon will not be held responsible for any reasonably foreseeable side effects that might occur from use of our products.
- We can not guarantee lasting results if you swim, take medication or use unsuitable shampoos and conditioners.
- We do not provide re-do’s if you change your mind, or choose not to follow home care advice.
- In the unlikely event that you have an issue with your hair, please contact the salon within 7 days from your appointment date. We do not provide refunds, and will do our utmost to ensure you are happy with your new colour or style.
Maintaining Records & Consent To Charge Credit Cards
- Our salon is committed about the privacy and confidentiality of personal and sensitive information. We ensure legal compliance by handling, protecting and maintaining the security of information acquired from you.
- We are not responsible for the collection, distribution and handling of your personal and sensitive information by anyone who is not employed by our salon.
- It’s your responsibility to notify us of changes regarding personal contact and credit card details.
- If a clause applies that obliges you to pay, you authorise the salon to charge your nominated credit card.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift Vouchers will only be valid for the specific product or services stated on the gift card.
- Gift Vouchers that have passed their expiry date (3 years from purchase date) will not be valid and cannot be used to redeem the product or service.
